80 Lexington 201

80 Lexington 201

OVERVIEW

80 Lexington started as a raw one room loft space in downtown Asheville. With the help of BFA architectural firm, the skilled commercial contractor team of Elm Construction and a trusting client, this forgotten space was turned into 4 upscale one bedroom boutique hotel vacation rental units. Scale interiors ran with the unlimited creative potential to transform this industrial backdrop into individual whimsical spaces where each unit has its own unique enchanting “vibe” felt by all who stay here. With original art, custom upholstered furniture and hand picked antiques the feeling of no detail being overlooked is abundant.

WHAT INSPIRED MY DIRECTION

It all starts with the rug. In unit 201 it certainly did. The color palette for this unit was guided by rich burgandies, plums oranges and golds taken from an 80 year old handmade Turkish rug. With a mixture of new contemporary pieces and one of a kind vintage finds this unit comes alive with moody colors, textures and charm.
